Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

1. Nature of the Service

ClarifiCover (“the Service”) is an AI-powered document interpretation and preparation tool. It is designed solely to help users read, understand, and navigate the wording of insurance-related documents they have personally uploaded.

ClarifiCover is not:

  • A licensed insurance broker, agent, or intermediary.
  • A provider of financial, investment, or insurance advice.
  • A claims handler, loss adjuster, or claims facilitator.
  • A regulated financial services provider under UAE Federal Law No. 6 of 2007 (Insurance Law) or any other applicable regulation.

All outputs are based solely on the text of the document you upload. They represent structured summaries of document wording — not assessments of policy suitability, coverage confirmation, entitlement, or claims outcomes.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ClarifiCover, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Service immediately.

3. No Insurance or Financial Advice

The output produced by ClarifiCover — including document summaries, clause identifications, cost figures, preparation checklists, and document transparency scores — constitutes document interpretation only. It does not constitute:

  • Advice on whether to purchase, renew, cancel, or switch insurance policies.
  • Confirmation of coverage, entitlement, or claims eligibility.
  • A guarantee or prediction of reimbursement amounts or claim outcomes.
  • Financial planning, investment, or retirement advice.
  • Legal advice on the interpretation of contractual terms.

You must independently verify all information with your insurer, a licensed insurance broker, or a qualified legal or financial professional before making any decision based on the Service output.

4. Document Transparency Score

The “Document Transparency Score” (also displayed as “Clarity Score”) is a structural metric reflecting how clearly and completely a policy document specifies its terms — including limits, exclusions, cost-sharing figures, and administrative requirements. It is not a measure of policy quality, value for money, comprehensiveness of cover, or suitability for any particular user. A high score indicates a clearly documented policy; a low score indicates a document that leaves significant terms unspecified or ambiguous.

5. User Obligations

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age.
  • You are the owner of, or are otherwise lawfully authorised to process, the document you upload.
  • You will not upload documents containing third-party personal data without appropriate authorisation.
  • You will not use the Service to make insurance, financial, or healthcare decisions without independent professional verification.
  • You will not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ClarifiCover and its operators shall not be liable for:

  • Any decision, action, or omission taken in reliance on the Service output.
  • Any denied claim, unexpected cost, or coverage gap that arises after using the Service.
  • Any inaccuracy, incompleteness, or misinterpretation in the AI-generated output.
  • Any indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages arising from use of the Service.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation any warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in the Service — including software, design, and generated output templates — belongs to ClarifiCover. You retain ownership of any document you upload. You are granted a non-exclusive licence to use the generated analysis output for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Third-Party AI Processing

The Service uses Anthropic's Claude AI model to analyse document text. By using the Service, you acknowledge that extracted text from your document will be transmitted to Anthropic's API for processing. This processing is subject to Anthropic's usage policies. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train its models by default.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UAE, unless the parties agree otherwise in writing.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be indicated by an updated date. Continued use of the Service after any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
